Our goal is to develop high-density, high-capacity next-generation energy storage materials suitable for drones, electric vehicles, and wearable devices.
Maxine material is attracting attention for its high electrical conductivity, light density, and high alkali ion philic properties optimized for secondary battery materials.
We overcame the shortcomings of 2D materials and conducted research on improving the cycle stability of lithium metal batteries using Ti3CNTx, one of the maxine types. In addition, the structural characteristics of Ti3CNTx compared to Ti3C2Tx, the representative maxine, and the mechanism of the increase in electrochemical performance were investigated.
